Playing system of Czech Championship 2014

On 1.9.2014 at 18:00 , the draw was performed to sort teams into groups as follows.

The first round is played as round-robin. Each team plays two games per match (each team starts the game once). The ranking in the group is determined by victories achieved, if two or more teams are tied for the same number of victories, the tiebreaker are the points achieved.

From each group, the first 4 teams advance further. The non-advancing teams (i.e. the 5th and 6th one) play for final standings (17th-22nd ) by play-off (elimination) system.

The advancing teams also play by play-off elimination system for the final standings (1st-16th), (see play-off bracket). The elimination play-off system is “best-of-three” – as long as one of the teams wins three games, it wins the match.

This year, for the third time, the Open Championship of the Czech Republic in the game Mölkky and the Championship of the Czech Republic in the 2014 in the game Mölkky will take place the first week of September. As usual, the teams consist of  three members + one substitute (optional). This year's big change is the location of the event which will be in Prague - in the Sports Complex HAMR Braník. The championship will be part of the festival of sport - SPORTÁČEK.

Last year's championship has experienced participation of 21 teams (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Serbia, Austria, Finland, Russia, France, Finland). Will we be able to exceed number of participants this year?

Cette année, pour la troisième fois, Championnat Ouvert de la République tchèque dans le jeu Mölkky et le Championnat de la République tchèque 2014 dans le jeu Mölkky va avoir lieu la première semaine de Septembre. Comme d'habitude, les équipes vont avoir trois membres + un remplaçant (facultatif). Ce qui change cette année c´est le lieu de l´évenement qui va être à Prague - dans le complexe sportif HAMR Braník. Le championnat va faire partie de la fête du sport - SPORTÁČEK.

21 équipes (République tchèque, Slovaquie, Allemagne, Serbie, Autriche, Finlande, Russie, France, Finlande) ont participé l´année derniere au championnat. Serons nous en mesure de dépasser ce nombre de participant cette année?
